“BURR-FECT” - UNIQUE OAK FURNITURE RANGE BROUGHT TO THE NORTH BY TOMLINSONS
Tomlinsons Antiques, based between Wetherby and York is launching a new range of oak furniture, previously unavailable in the North of England.
The Pippy burr oak furniture will be stocked by the fine furniture supplier as an extension of its existing oak reproduction furniture range.
Pippy Burr oak is characterised by the many clusters of small knots on the timber, known as pips. Each piece of timber has unique character and is polished to an enticing warm honey shade that will appeal to those looking for individuality in their furniture.
A careful selection process means that only the highest quality oak burr is used to create the totally unique pieces of furniture, which are made to order in the UK by dedicated craftsman.
The range includes typical living and dining room furniture from tables, bookcases and sideboards but extends to bedroom items such as dressers and wardrobes. Prices start from £900+ VAT.
Tomlinsons has also extended the range to include a specially commissioned Pippy TV cabinet, designed to hide a television, which can appear, and disappear at the touch of a button. The design of the cabinet allows customers to discretely mix modern day needs without compromising the period look. Further items may be added to the range according to customer demand.
Sarah Worrall, Tomlinsons Sales Director, says of the range: “We are convinced our customers will fall in love with the character of the timber as no two pieces are the same and are distinctly individual. We have chosen to sell direct from the showroom for immediate delivery so you don’t have to wait too long to take your favourite items home.
