Undoubtedly, antique furniture makes a statement. Whether it is a lavish continental suite or a beautiful Victorian dining table, you are guaranteed to achieve the individuality so sought after when designing a home. 'Tomlinsons At Home' is a bespoke antique consultancy service specialising in creating these individual and distinct environments; from Georgian manor houses to unique modern builds, our service is designed to cater for the most discerning client.

Informality is a key element of the Tomlinsons At Home service. Unlike other design services, you may have as much or as little input as you feel necessary; the most important thing is to feel comfortable in choosing the right pieces without having ideas imposed upon you. A relaxed environment means that you can take your time in choosing the right pieces with expert advice on hand if and when you need it.

Many clients enjoy learning about antiques and often develop their own style as the process develops. Equally, as time constraints are often an important factor, some prefer to leave the majority of sourcing to their consultant who will actively seek out those items which match the specification. It is also not a problem if you are already working with an interior decorator; Tomlinsons at home has bee designed to accommodate this.

The process begins with lunch and a tour of our showroom allowing you to browse our 5000 items at your leisure. This is followed by an in-home personal consultation with our Sales Director who will asses your requirements and discuss timescales. Further to this, CAD drawings of your property will be prepared by our design team and placed in your personal portfolio. At this point you may choose to step back and let your consultant suggest pieces that match your requirements or you may prefer to work directly alongside them in choosing items and formulating ideas. Upon completion of the furniture side, we stock a large range of lamps rugs and upholstered items saving you time in creating those vital finishing touches.

Not available to regular customers, Tomlinsons At Home clients are entitled to extra access privileges within our showroom. As well as receiving discounts on both restored and unrestored furniture, you will also be invited to view items which are not yet on the showroom floor; essentially gaining a first refusal on any new stock. During your initial visit, you will also have an opportunity to view our in-house restoration facilities and workshops which will be at your disposal throughout the process.
